Key Account Manager focusing on electricity trading and flexibility services at Öresundskraft

We are therefore strengthening our investment in electricity trading and flexibility services and are looking for a Key Account Manager who wants to develop the business together with our customers.

About the role

As a KAM, you will be a key player in realizing our business goals within flexibility services – solutions that enable electricity users and producers to temporarily adjust their consumption or production to manage their electricity costs.

Your customers are primarily in the industry and horticulture sectors, initially in northwestern Scania, but with a business that will grow nationally. You work closely with colleagues within electricity trading, product and offer development, technology, delivery, and business development. Together, you target corporate customers, aggregators, flexibility partners, and other players in the energy market. The role primarily involves building a new business where you translate strategy into concrete customer deals, but you also have access to Öresundskraft's entire offer portfolio.

Your main responsibilities

  • Drive and develop businesses within electricity and flexibility services towards corporate customers with profit and budget responsibility
  • Be responsible for your own customer portfolio, including results, budget, and follow-up
  • Understand customers' operations and needs and build long-term relationships
  • Negotiate contracts, participate in tenders, and structure business models
  • Contribute operationally to the development of the flexibility business
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop customer-specific solutions

About you

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

  • At least five years of experience in complex B2B sales
  • Good knowledge of the electricity trading business
  • Experience from the industrial sector or sales to industrial customers
  • Documented experience in driving national customer deals
  • Strong negotiation skills and a structured, commercial working method

Meritorious

  • Understanding of flexibility services or adjacent businesses
  • Experience in building new businesses in growth areas where offerings and structures are still developing
